Andy started his career at Connecticut Spring & Stamping (CSS) as VP of Operations. He then instigated an HBS study of the perennial success of the Toyota Production System (TPS). The study culminated in groundbreaking reports introducing and detailing the DNA of TPS, leading to a reimagining of many of the production and operations classes taught at HBS. The published materials garnered so much interest from the business community, Andy chose to establish YOMO Consulting, the core principles which are the consolidated key learnings of Toyota’s success. For over 20 years, YOMO’s mission was to help companies improve their businesses through implementation of TPS. In 2015, Andy created a curriculum for the Stanford Graduate School of Business and served as professor of “The Cultural Imperative,” a course that shows students how to design company cultures with happier, more gratified, and more productive employees. Andy invests, consults, and advises companies that are up to the twin challenge of improving both themselves and the planet. Andy graduated with an MBA from Harvard Business School and earned his Bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College.
