Krisztina, better known as “Z”, is an investor and advisor for several organizations. She was the Founding Executive Director at the Deshpande Center at MIT and the Founding Director of the Steven Institute for Innovation and the Provost for Innovation at USC. Additionally, she is a Founder of MAKE IT IN LA, an initiative by Los Angeles’ former mayor and was a Council Chair for the World Economic Forum in Davos. Z has served on the Steering Committee for the US National Advisory Council for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, National Academy of Engineering. She was the Creator, Curator & Host for the first ever TEDx conference. She is an entrepreneur having co-founded Stylus Innovation Inc., which was acquired by Artisoft. Z has mentored over 100 startups in her various roles at MIT, USC, in LA and nationwide. Z earned her MS and BS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.
