John Friedman

John Friedman is a Senior Advisor to Gore Range Capital and Good Growth Capital, and Managing Partner of Easton Capital. Prior to founding Easton, John was Managing GP of Security Pacific Capital, a $200 million private equity fund associated with Security Pacific Bank. Before he joined SecPac, John was a Managing Director/Partner at Warburg, Pincus, where he spent 9 years. Previously, John practiced law at Sullivan and Cromwell. John has invested in over 100 transactions, with 5 generating returns over 100x. John currently serves on the boards of Trellis Bioscience, Sequella, AOA, and Sensoriant. John has been heavily involved with the New York medical science community for years. He served as Chairman of the Columbia University Medical Center’s Health Sciences Advisory Council and Co-Chairman of the President’s Council at the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. John holds a BA in History from Yale, where he graduated magna cum laude. John also holds a JD degree from Yale.
