Lindy Elkins-Tanton, PhD

Professor Elkins- Tanton is the Foundation and Regents Professor, School Of Earth and Space Exploration at Arizona State University. She is a Vice President and Regents Professor of the Interplanetary Initiative at ASU and Principal Investigator at the NASA Psyche mission. She was on the Faculty of MIT for four years, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in planetary geology and spent five years as a researcher at Brown University. Before that, Lindy spent eight years working in business, with five years spent writing business plans for young high-tech ventures. Professor Elkins-Tanton received her bachelor's and master's degrees from MIT. After woking in business, she returned to MIT for her PhD.
